Weighted reviews

Every review is tier-classified and weighted. Anonymous reviews barely move the aggregate; evidence-backed reviews do.

Trust Index

A single 0-100 composite per service, derived from five signal categories. Not displayed unless the signal floor is met.

Claim + verify

Businesses can claim their profile via three-method verification (email, DNS TXT, HTML file) and respond to reviews.

Do you offer a free trial?
Yes — every paid plan includes a 14-day trial. No credit card required until you hit the end of day 14.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrades are prorated to the day; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
What counts as a Business profile?
One Business profile is one service or brand that you own or operate. Multi-brand holding companies can add additional profiles at $99/profile/month.
Do paid plans influence review scoring?
No. Editorial reviews are produced by our independent editorial team under the rubric published at /about. Business plan subscribers can respond to their own reviews but cannot preview, edit, or delay publication.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancellation is one click from your account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and the plan does not auto-renew.
Is there a non-profit or academic discount?
Registered non-profits, accredited universities, and working journalists get 50% off Pro. Email press@howsociable.com with verification.
