Sources & methodology

The checker above shows public channel facts but not subscriber totals, which Twitch does not make public. The table lists the highest subscriber count each channel has reached, and the month it was reached, as recorded in Wikipedia’s “List of most-subscribed Twitch channels” (revision of October 11, 2026), which cites news reports and tracker sites. These are peak records, not live counts.

Profile details are dated snapshots, separate from each historical peak. Partner status and followers are not live measurements. Country/region is as reported by the source profile and does not establish residence or nationality. Gender is as explicitly described by the linked source; persona labels describe virtual characters. Open a value for its source and checked date. Unknown means no supported value; “Not applicable” identifies an organization or shared channel, not a gender. Active subscribers are separate dated source readings when available; historical peaks never supply a current count. Open a number or dash for details. Metadata checked November 7, 2026.

Sub points vs sub count, in Twitch’s own terms

A channel’s goal widget, the checker above and the live board use two different units, and Twitch defines both. The sub count is the number of subscriptions to the channel: every Prime, gift or recurring sub counts as one, whatever its tier. Sub points weight the same subscriptions by tier, and a channel loses points when a sub is not renewed or drops to a lower tier.

Goals come in the same two flavours. A total sub count goal starts from the channel’s current number (Twitch’s example: 788 of 1,000), so its figure is a standing count. A new subs goal starts from zero and counts only subs bought while the goal is active, which is why this page never presents a new-subs goal as a total. Plus Points, a third figure on some channel pages, measure qualification for Twitch’s Plus Program (more than 100 or more than 300 points for three consecutive months) and count recurring subs only.

How to see your own subscriber count

Your exact numbers are in the Creator Dashboard: open Insights, then Channel Analytics, where Twitch lists both your sub count and your sub points for the account you are signed in to. To show a figure to your viewers, set a community goal from the Stream Manager; the goal widget on your channel page is public, and it is what the checker on this page reads for any channel that runs one.

About this generator

This checker retrieves public channel facts, not subscriber totals. Twitch's subscriptions API requires authorization from the broadcaster to read that channel's subscriptions; this tool does not request that access. The one subscription figure Twitch does show to everyone is a creator's own sub goal: when a channel runs one, the checker shows that goal's current count, labelled with what the goal counts (active subs, sub points, or subs gained since the goal was set) and when the creator set it. A subscriber figure published elsewhere may be broadcaster-reported or estimated, so check its source and date.

What this checker does show is real public channel data: whether the channel exists and whether it's live right now with the current viewer count — plus, depending on which data source answers, its public follower count, its exact Partner or Affiliate status, when the account was created, and the current game. Facts a source doesn't supply are shown as unavailable, never guessed. When no data source is configured, the tool says so plainly rather than inventing numbers.

Pro tips

  • Check the source and date of subscriber figures: broadcaster-reported counts and third-party estimates are different evidence
  • 'Partner' and 'Affiliate' are real, official Twitch program statuses you can verify
  • Current viewer count is only available while a channel is actually live
  • To see your own real subscriber count, open Twitch's Creator Dashboard while signed in to that account
  • The 30-day broadcast figures come from the VODs a channel still keeps public, so they are lower bounds: a channel that deletes its past broadcasts shows none, and VOD views are not live viewers

Frequently Asked Questions

Not as a total. Twitch's Get Broadcaster Subscriptions API requires the broadcaster's authorization, and this tool does not connect to a creator's authorized account. What it can show is the channel's public sub goal, when the creator runs one: the same progress figure the goal widget displays on the channel page, with its target, the date the goal was set and what it counts. A creator may also choose to publish a count elsewhere. The tool never provides an estimated subscriber total.

Real public channel facts: whether it exists and whether it's live right now with the current viewer count, plus — depending on which data source answers — its public follower count, its exact Partner or Affiliate status, when the account was created, and the current game. Anything a source doesn't supply is shown as unavailable rather than guessed. If the channel runs a public sub goal, its current goal count is shown and labelled as a goal; the tool does not retrieve or estimate subscriber totals.

A subscriber pays a monthly price that Twitch sets and adjusts to where the subscriber lives, and wherever they live, subscribers at the same tier get the same perks: badges, custom emotes and whatever else the streamer has enabled, such as ad-free viewing. Twitch's Local Subscription Pricing Countries page (read October 8, 2026) lists a Tier 1 sub at $5.99 on the web in the United States; Twitch also sells Tier 2 and Tier 3 subs. The streamer receives a share of what the subscriber paid under their revenue-share agreement with Twitch.

Sub count is the number of subscriptions to a channel: every Prime, gift or recurring sub counts as one, whatever its tier. Sub points weight those subscriptions by tier: a Tier 1 sub is 1 point, Tier 2 is 2 points and Tier 3 is 6 points, and a channel loses points when a sub lapses or drops a tier. A channel's goal widget can count either, so this page labels every figure with its unit (Twitch Help, "Sub Points vs Sub Count vs Plus Points", read October 22, 2026).

No public source answers that for every channel, because Twitch keeps subscriber totals private. The two public views on this page are the live board, which lists the channels live right now whose public sub goal shows the biggest figure (read about every 30 minutes, channels without a goal cannot appear), and the all-time table of peak subscriber records from Wikipedia's dated list, where Kai Cenat's 1,112,947 of September 2025 is the highest recorded.

From the channel's public Twitch page data, read at the moment you check: the past broadcasts (VODs) the channel keeps public give the number of streams whose VOD is still public, their hours, average length, average VOD views and most-streamed categories over the last 30 days (Twitch keeps VODs only for a limited time and creators can delete them, so those are lower bounds); the subscription products give the Tier 1, 2 and 3 prices as Twitch returned them to this site's server (Twitch prices subscriptions by the viewer's country) and the channel's emotes; the clips list is Twitch's own most-viewed clips of the last 30 days. A channel that keeps no VODs shows no broadcast statistics rather than an estimate, and none of this reveals subscriber totals.
