The top 15 food creators on TikTok, one by one
Here is who these creators are and what their profiles actually showed on September 3, 2026: country and language where a source supports it, the signature format, and what the bio and recent uploads say.
1. CZN Burak (@cznburak) — 73.3M followers
Turkish chef and restaurateur Burak Özdemir cooks enormous traditional Turkish and Middle Eastern dishes straight to camera, and his bio doubles as a map of his restaurant branches: İstanbul, Dubai, Birmingham, Madinah and more. He is big enough to appear on Wikipedia's list of the most-followed TikTok accounts overall, which recorded 73.6M as of August 9, 2026 — close to the 73.3M his profile displayed at our read, a reminder that these numbers move week to week. No food creator appears above him on that list — that cross-check is what backs calling him TikTok's most-followed food creator. The account showed 3,212 videos, 1.5B total likes, and an upload as recent as September 2, 2026.
2. Bayashi (@bayashi.tiktok) — 54.5M followers
Japanese creator Hiroaki Nakabayashi, named TikTok Japan Creator of the Year for 2022, posts one-take cooking videos with heavy ASMR appeal. His entire bio reads "I like cheese 🧀". His displayed total of 1.8B likes is the highest of anyone on this list — ahead of even CZN Burak's 1.5B — and he was posting right up to the read: "Pizza Crust Pizza" on September 2 and "Smiley Fries" on August 31.
3. Surthycooks (@surthycooks) — 41.1M followers
Lebanese-Venezuelan creator Surthany Hejeij makes step-by-step, Spanish-language home cooking videos — 1,585 of them at our read, with 1.3B total likes. The account is becoming a food business in plain sight: her bio promotes her own food line, and the pinned post announces its dedicated brand account, @cooksbatata. Latest upload: September 2, 2026.
4. Gordon Ramsay (@gordonramsayofficial) — 40.7M followers
The most-followed television chef on this list undersells himself in the bio: "I cook sometimes too.....". The feed mixes recipe clips with Kitchen Nightmares moments — "Stinky Fish & Chips ??? No thank you !!!" went up on September 2, 2026 — and has collected 729.7M likes. For anyone searching famous TikTok chefs, this is the account they usually mean first, even though three creators outrank him.
5. Abir El Saghir (@abir.sag) — 31.4M followers
Lebanon-based chef whose bio promises to "inspire your inner chef." Her latest upload was a full bilingual homemade potato-chips recipe (August 31), and her pinned videos are recipe posts under her #abirzkitchen tag. 527.6M total likes displayed.
6. Zach Choi (@thezachchoi) — 29M followers
No-talking ASMR cooking and eating: all four of his most recent videos were tagged #tiktokfood #asmr. The account carries 573.2M likes across a comparatively lean 543 videos. TikTok showed no verified badge on this profile at read time.
7. Amaury Guichon (@amauryguichon) — 28.5M followers
"The Chocolate Guy," per his bio. Guichon is a pastry chef whose feed is a gallery of large-scale chocolate sculpture builds, released on a clean weekly cadence: "Chocolate Dumbo" (August 31), "Sweet Peanut" (August 24), "Watermelon" (August 17) and "Chocolate Dobby" (August 10). 666.9M total likes.
8. Cooking with Lynja (@cookingwithlynja) — 22.2M followers
Lynn Yamada Davis's fast-cut, joke-dense cooking videos made this one of the largest food accounts on TikTok, and it still is: 22.2M followers and 361M likes displayed at our read, across 507 videos. Davis died in January 2024 (per Wikipedia, accessed September 3, 2026). The account's most recent upload is dated January 12, 2024 — a tribute addressed to her — and no video after that date appears on the profile. We include the account because it remains live and among the platform's biggest food channels.
9. Keith Lee (@keith_lee125) — 17.4M followers
Candid restaurant taste tests, often of small and family-run spots: his pinned videos are #foodcritic reviews of Frankensons Pizzeria and Champ Wings And Things, and marketing write-ups credit his reviews with measurably moving sales at the restaurants he covers. The ratio — 917.8M total likes against 17.4M followers, across a prolific 4,410 videos — is one of the strongest on this list. Recent uploads mix in family updates around the food reviews.
10. Robegrill (@robegrill) — 16.8M followers
Robegrill grills and cooks in Spanish under the banner in his bio: "La COMIDA une al MUNDO" — food unites the world — with a link to his best-tacos-in-CDMX picks. He posted "Las dos mejores BURGERS de CDMX" on September 3, 2026. 462.4M total likes.
11. Albert Cancook (@albert_cancook) — 15.7M followers
Albert Cancook — LA-based, per his bio — builds playful, engineering-minded recipe remixes: "Cajun Corn Dog" (September 1), "Pepperoni Lasagna" (August 29), "Lobster Pizza" (August 25). His own bio lists 29M subscribers on YouTube against 15.7M here — a useful reminder that follower counts are platform-specific, and that cross-network totals are not TikTok counts. 432.6M TikTok likes.
12. Salt Bae (@nusr_et) — 15M followers
Nusret Gökçe, the Turkish chef and butcher behind the Nusr-Et steakhouse chain, posts the theatrical steak preparation that made him a meme and a brand: "Smash burger" (August 31) and "Gold steak" (August 23) under his #saltbae tag. His bio was blank at the read. 145.3M total likes.
13. Nick DiGiovanni (@nick.digiovanni) — 13.7M followers
The MasterChef finalist's bio is five words: "follow if you love food." His feed showed an upload every two to three days — "1 Second vs 1 Hour Egg" (September 1), "Pyramid Watermelon" (August 28) — and 419.2M total likes. His collaborations reach across this very list: Cooking with Lynja's catalog includes a truffle-hunting video with him.
14. Nara Smith (@naraazizasmith) — 12.6M followers
From-scratch cooking delivered with a distinct, quiet lifestyle framing. At the read, her bio promoted preorders of her cookbook HOMEMADE, and recent uploads included a chicken-and-waffles recipe (August 31) and a cookbook unboxing (August 27). At 874.4M total likes on 12.6M followers, few accounts here get more engagement per follower.
15. Tini (@tinekeyounger) — 12.5M followers
Tineke Younger's recipe walk-throughs — her mac and cheese went famously viral, per Wikipedia — anchor a feed that at the read included an olive-oil chocolate cake (September 1), chicken stew (August 27) and soups (August 26). Her bio takes cookbook pre-orders. 588.1M total likes.
Ranks 16–30: the rest of the most-followed food TikTok accounts
Some of the biggest cooking accounts on TikTok sit just outside the top 15. Same rules: every count below is the profile's displayed figure on September 3, 2026.
- 16. Tommy Winkler (@tommywinkler) — 12.4M. "I just eat food," says the bio, and 3,396 videos back it up: eating content from a Taco Bell run to pinned seafood boils.
- 17. Mis Pastelitos (@mispastelitos_) — 12.2M. Gris Verduzco's Mexican baking account; the bio announces the opening of her own pastelería. Her most recent captioned posts skew personal — a family 90th-birthday video among them — so read it as a baking-identity account with a mixed recent feed.
- 18. Emily Mariko (@emilymariko) — 12.1M. Minimalist home cooking made famous by her viral salmon bowl; her latest cooking upload at the read was "My first blackberry cobbler" (September 1), labeled as a Ray-Ban Meta partner post. 854.7M likes.
- 19. B. Dylan Hollis (@bdylanhollis) — 10.2M. The Bermudian creator bakes vintage recipes for comedy — "Peak ingenuity for 1964" — and his bio shouts "BOOKS! 🎉".
- 20. Las Recetas de Simón (@lasrecetasdesimon) — 9.8M. "¡Recetas fáciles para todos los días!": easy everyday Spanish-language recipes, plus kitchen hacks like the bread-revival trick he posted September 2.
- 21. Newt (@newt) — 9.7M. Newt Nguyen's sarcastic quick-cut cooking under the bio "lemme cook 🧑🏻🍳"; he posted on September 3.
- 22. Sam Way (@samseats) — 9.7M. Fast-paced recipe videos — Thai beef salad, fish and chips, steak frites — with every recipe funneled to a newsletter. He ties Newt at a displayed 9.7M; Newt's higher like total (377.3M vs 222.2M) breaks the tie.
- 23. The Golden Balance (@thegoldenbalance) — 8.5M. Ahmad Alzahabi writes complete recipes into his captions — honey BBQ wings, butter chicken rangoons — and his bio links his restaurant, @eatgoldenboys.
- 24. Cedrik Lorenzen (@cedriklorenzen) — 8.5M. Cinematic dessert-making ("ASMR strawberry tart," August 30) with a recipe subscription in the bio and a pinned Le Gruyère AOP ambassadorship post.
- 25. Buddy Valastro (@buddyvalastro) — 8.5M. "I make cake": TV's Cake Boss posts bakes and pizza rankings, with three uploads in the three days before the read.
- 26. Foodgod (@foodgod) — 8.1M. Jonathan Cheban's restaurant-dining and food-culture takes. No upload in the roughly five weeks before our read (latest: July 27, 2026).
- 27. Notorious Foodie (@notorious_foodie) — 7.8M. Technique-heavy cooking — "The Ultimate Beef Stock" with full method, wagyu donburi, braised beef cheeks — with recipes and cookware linked in the bio.
- 28. Agus Liporace (@kulinaria.recetas) — 7.1M. "Cocinera" — a cook, per her bio — posting full-ingredient recipes like her ricotta tartlets (September 1).
- 29. Joshua Weissman (@flakeysalt) — 7M. The chef known for "But Better," his series remaking popular food items from scratch, keeps his TikTok bio to three words: "I cook food."
- 30. Khairul Aming (@khairulaming) — 7M. Malaysian creator and founder of the Sambal Nyet food brand; his bio was literally a Sambal Nyet restock notice at the read, and he posted on September 3 itself. His displayed 7M ties Weissman's, and the like totals that split them — 190.7M to 190.6M — are the narrowest margin on the list.
Just below the cut, all read the same day: Buse Zeynep (5.8M), Karissa Eats (5M), Shereen Pavlides of Cooking with Shereen (5M), The Pasta Queen (4.7M), Patrick Zeinali (4.6M), Salt Hank (2.5M — named to TikTok's own 2026 Discover List in the Foodies category), and street-food traveler Mark Wiens (2.1M).
Methodology: how this list was built
Most "top food influencers" lists republish each other's numbers. This one does not, and the difference showed up immediately: several counts circulating on well-ranked roundups run up to three times what TikTok actually displays. Here is exactly what we did.
- Every count is a live read at display precision. All follower and like figures were read from TikTok's own live profile data on September 3, 2026: every ranked profile was read at 07:12–07:18 UTC, a second independent pass re-read six profiles at 07:38–07:45 UTC, and every figure the two passes disagreed on was read a third time just before publishing (about 08:14 UTC) — the latest read is what we publish. Counts appear exactly as TikTok displays them — "73.3M" stays "73.3M." We never expand a rounded count into digits TikTok did not show.
- No live read, no ranking. A candidate one agency list credits with 11M ("@cozyivn") returns TikTok's does-not-exist page; another claimed at 8.8M matched no findable account. Neither is ranked, and neither is guessed at. The candidate pool itself was assembled from published food-creator lists plus TikTok user search, so an account that appears on no list and never surfaced in search would be missed — below the very top, read this as the best-verified ranking we could build, not a census.
- Original food creators only, worldwide. A "food channel" here means an account whose identity — bio, pinned videos and recent uploads — is the creator's own food content: cooking, baking, recipes, restaurant reviews or food travel, in any language or country. Repost aggregators and brand or publisher kitchens (Tasty and its peers) are excluded, as are celebrity accounts where food is occasional.
- The primarily-food test uses what the profile shows today. Two large accounts were read successfully but excluded because their bios and recent feeds are family and daily-life content first: Pakoyaso (19.8M) and Shadira Firdausi (12.3M). ChefBonez (8M) was left out because his captions made food-primariness unconfirmable from the read. Matty Matheson was excluded at the candidate stage — RUSSH itself notes he doesn't do much cooking on TikTok these days.
- Handles were resolved, not copied. Six candidate handles — including ones printed by other lists — turned out to be namesquatters or empty placeholder accounts. The real profiles — including @mispastelitos_, @notorious_foodie and @kulinaria.recetas — were found through TikTok user search and verified before ranking. Never trust a printed handle.
- Published counts were treated as claims, and several are not TikTok counts at all. One influencer database's cooking list credits The Golden Balance with 13.8M, Patrick Zeinali with 13.4M and Buse Zeynep with 17.2M "followers on social media" — cross-network totals that run roughly 1.6 to three times what each creator's TikTok profile actually displayed at our read (8.5M, 4.6M and 5.8M). Cross-network totals repeated as TikTok counts, and stale data, are the two recurring failure modes — and the reason no number on this page is repeated from another list.
- Ties are broken by displayed total likes. TikTok rounds its display, so identical counts happen (9.7M twice, 8.5M three times, 7M twice). Where they do, the account with more displayed total likes ranks higher.
- Activity is reported, not hidden. 28 of the 30 accounts posted within the two weeks before the read. The two exceptions — Foodgod (last upload July 27, 2026) and Cooking with Lynja (inactive since January 2024) — are labeled in their entries.
- Profile photos and live links. The creator photos in the visual index at the top of this page were saved from each creator’s live TikTok profile on September 3, 2026, the same day as the counts. Every handle on this page links to the live profile, where today’s counts will have drifted past the September 3 figures this ranking is ordered by — the table records what the ranking was built from.
Food influencer marketing, earnings and how to break in
Three questions travel with this list — what brands should do with it, what these creators earn, and how a new creator gets here. Honest answers to each, grounded in what the 30 profiles above actually show.
What this list tells brands about food influencer marketing
Food is a genuinely global category on TikTok: the top 30 alone spans creators posting in at least four languages, from Mexico City taco guides to Malaysian sambal. Sponsored work is visible right in the reads — Emily Mariko's latest cooking video is a labeled Ray-Ban Meta partner post, and Cedrik Lorenzen pins a Le Gruyère AOP ambassadorship — so disclosure-labeled brand integration is visible in the reads at multiple tiers of this list.
The vetting lesson is blunter: published follower counts are frequently wrong, as the methodology above shows, so read the profile yourself before you brief an agency. Then look past the count entirely — compare Salt Bae's displayed 145.3M likes on 15M followers with Keith Lee's 917.8M on 17.4M: similar counts, very different audience behavior. Run any shortlist through our TikTok engagement rate calculator, and use the cross-platform engagement rate calculator when you are comparing a creator's TikTok against their Instagram or YouTube. One more buyer-education note: follower counts can simply be bought. Our buy TikTok followers guide reviews that market from the buyer's side — the short version is that purchased followers change a number, not watch time, comments or sales, which is exactly why engagement-based vetting beats count-based vetting.
How to become a food influencer on TikTok
The 30 accounts above are a working syllabus. Four patterns repeat. First, a repeatable signature format you could describe in one line: chocolate sculptures (Guichon), vintage recipes played for comedy (Hollis), no-talk ASMR (Choi), candid taste tests (Lee). Second, measured consistency — Guichon ships one sculpture a week, DiGiovanni posts every two to three days, and several accounts post near-daily. Third, captions that do work: The Golden Balance puts the full written recipe in every caption, which makes every post shareable and searchable. Fourth, an owned next step for the audience — newsletters (Sam Way), cookbooks (Nara Smith, Tini), a food line (Surthycooks), restaurants and packaged brands (The Golden Balance, Khairul Aming). None of this requires a big count to start; it is what the big counts were built from.
How much do food influencers make?
There is no reliable public income figure for any creator on this list, so we will not print one. What the profiles themselves document is the revenue architecture: disclosure-labeled brand partnerships (noted above), books (Nara Smith's HOMEMADE preorder, Tini's cookbook pre-order, Hollis's books), restaurants and food brands (CZN Burak's multi-city branches, the Nusr-Et chain, Sambal Nyet, @eatgoldenboys, the Mis Pastelitos pastelería, Surthycooks' food line), plus subscriptions and newsletters. Earnings scale with engagement and conversion, not follower count alone. For a range estimate of what a given follower count and engagement rate could earn from brand work, our TikTok money calculator shows the assumptions behind every number instead of promising an income.
The bottom line
CZN Burak leads TikTok food at a displayed 73.3M followers, Bayashi owns the like count at 1.8B, and the top 30 stretches from candid taste tests to pastry tutorials in Spanish — every figure above read live on September 3, 2026, with the read date attached so you can judge freshness for yourself. Counts move daily; the profiles are linked so you can check today's numbers in one tap. For more platform data and guides, see our TikTok hub and the latest posts in our TikTok category.
