His collaborations provide another way to explore the work. The same biography records writing connections with Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and One Direction, which should be distinguished from songs released under his own artist name.

The official artist site brings together his recordings, videos and dated tour listings. These complement the songwriting credits: listeners can trace material released under his name alongside songs written for other performers and the live versions published through his artist channels.

Subtract, released in 2023, closed Sheeran's sequence of albums named after mathematical symbols. He worked with Aaron Dessner after an introduction through Taylor Swift. The label describes sessions that produced more material than the fourteen songs selected for the standard album.

The release pairs quieter, folk-oriented textures with fuller band and orchestral arrangements. Boat and Eyes Closed belong to that standard sequence. Deluxe editions add different bonus material depending on format, so a track count should identify the edition rather than present every version as identical.

Play – The Remixes EP, announced by Atlantic in October 2025, revisits four tracks from Play through collaborations with South Asian artists. Its contributors include Karan Aujla, Hanumankind, Dhee, Santhosh Narayanan, Arijit Singh and Jonita; Symmetry features Aujla.

The EP is a companion release, not an alternative name for the original album. It extends a collaborative recording period connected to Sheeran's time in India. Keeping those featured-performer credits alongside the album title helps distinguish a remix or new guest version from the original recording.
